Rate New York State Unemployment has fallen in line with the latest number issued in New York State Department of Labor. And although it may seem good news first, the current level of unemployment in the State puts it below 8.5% 3-month average, the federal government to ensure that within six weeks of the expansion of benefits for emergency unemployment compensation (EUC) Tier 4.
In other words, in New York, the unemployed citizens will now receive 93 weeks of unemployment coverage, not 99, which is expected when the rate of New York State unemployment was higher. So reads the text of the bill benefits the end of the week on December 5, many unemployed New Yorkers can not get up to 93 weeks.
The U.S. Labor Department announced that, starting from 16 August, no new claims may be filed by Tier 4 benefits.
