Kobayashi Arrested After Joey Chestnut Hot Dog Win

For all competitive have fans who think Joey Chestnut was a man, and Kobayashi could not get arrested, you were wrong.
After winning Chestnut today at the International Nathan’s Hot Dog Contest Kobayashi food really was taken into custody.
Chestnut ate down to 54 hot dogs for his fourth consecutive victory. That was 14 short of his world record.
Shortly thereafter, 6-winner Takeru Kobayashi came on the scene and police grabbed him. He tried to keep the barricades, as he was taken away.

Last year’s event ended in a tie with Chestnut, of San Jose, Calif., and Kobayashi, of Japan, both gobbling down 59 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes. A dramatic five hot dog eat-off ensued with Chestnut emerging victorious.
Saturday’s annual Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog-eating Contest starts at noon.
