Bcs Rankings Week 9,Bcs Championship 2009:The college football rankings for week 9 are largely the same, with no huge upsets. But the college football rankings in week 9 has Florida at No.1 in all polls again. The college football rankings for week 9 had Florida back on top in the AP Top 25 college football poll, over struggling Alabama. Florida didn’t do that much to top the AP Top 25 college football rankings, but they did a little more than Alabama. Nevertheless, Florida, Alabama and Texas are still on top, as always, in the college football rankings for week 9.

Florida is now leading both the AP and USA Today top 25 polls, with Alabama and Texas 2-3. The college football rankings for week 9 still have USC at fourth in the AP and USA Today, but it’s unclear if the Trojans will move up from seventh in the BCS rankings today.

In the AP top 10 college football poll, Cincinnati, Boise State, Iowa, TCU, LSU and Oregon are 5-through-10. In the USA Today college football rankings, Boise State and TCU are up to fifth and sixth, with Cincinnati at seven and Iowa remaining at eight. There is still clearly a lot of wiggle room in the college football rankings, behind the top three, that is.

The college football rankings in week 9 didn’t have any real shakeups, except to knock Miami from the list of BCS contenders. But next week, things stand to get more interesting, as there are some possible elimination games ahead. Oregon and USC meet in a de facto BCS elimination game, while Texas has a big road test at Oklahoma State.
