Joe Cada earns a spot in history as WSOP’s youngest winner in the tournament’s 40 year history. Moon said about his second place finish:
“Oh … yeah, $3 million dollars, what do you mean what’s the difference? Am I sad about it? Am I depressed? H-ll no.” Moon won $5,182,928.
Cada told the crowd: “I want to thank my friends and family for taking time away from work and school to be here. I’ve dreamed of winning this tournament, and to do it the first year out of the gate is unbelievable. This is just amazing.”
