“White Nose Syndrome”:Manu Ginobili swatted a bat on the court in San Antonio Halloween night. It will be a top 10 NBA highlight this season, and a top 50 sports highlight this year. The bat was wounded and flew away or died. Who gives a shit what happened to it – we’re talking about a bat! (Yes, we’re aware of White Nose Syndrome. It is far down our lists of concerns, right before “is it time to switch paper towel brands?” and after “if offered $7,500, would I get in a shark cage in Australia?”) Of course, PETA is outraged about Ginobili’s reaction to the bat. PETA is the worst. They are worse than the radical right and left combined. We may go out and buy a really nice and expensive fur coat tonight just to spite them. Even if we can’t afford it.
