Alliance Air Show
October 24, 2009
Alliance Air Show:Here’s a reason to crane your neck and look up in the sky this weekend — not to mention brave Interstate 35W traffic that can be rough no matter what day it is: the Fort Worth Alliance Air Show. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the U.S. Army Golden Knights will perform their acrobatic maneuvers today and Sunday in the skies over north Fort Worth. For those who like to stay grounded while watching others do dizzying stunts, there will also be aircraft displays, flight simulators and that good old standby, food. Admission is free, but parking is 20 bucks per vehicle (specialty seating and VIP parking are extra). Gates are open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. both days at Alliance Airport, 2221 Alliance Parkway Show begins at 11 a.m. For more information, go to www.allianceairshow.com.
