Bianca De La Garza,David Wade:A spokesperson for Bianca de la Garza and David Wade has announced that the couple plan to end their 12-year marriage.

You learn something new everyday.  Not being one to watch the local morning news, I had no idea that we had this cute little spousal rivalry between de la Garza, co-anchor on WCVB-5, and Wade, who co-anchors on WBZ-4.

It makes one wonder if the time slot rivalry had anything to do with their split.  They weren’t always on competing programs.  Between 2001 and 2007, they both worked for Fox 25 (WFXT) in Boston.

The Boston Herald hints that de la Garza likely initiated the split, according to anonymous “insiders.
