Eldest Movie/Eldest:After the varying reaction on the Eragon movie based on the bestselling novel by Christopher Paolini, I was not certain if the second book will finally grace the world of film-making. But rather recntly I have found a teaser poster for the said movie.
Also the site stated that the Eldest movie will most probably be released on the Spring of 2011, which will of course conlict with the date stated in the poster (which I am not sure if this is official or fan made). Furthermore, it has been noted that Edward Speleers has started his training up for a second movie, and an unofficial report said something about the movie being filmed in Morocco, which is a good sign for many that Eldest The Movie, will be made. However, Sienna Guillory (Arya) is playing Resa in the upcoming movie, Inkheart (2008/2009) and Garrett Hedlund (Murtagh) is playing Louis in the movie Hectic (2008), so it is possible that they are waiting for “Arya” and “Murtagh” to come back.
Of course, we can hope for the best that this movie to come to light. The only question I have in my mind, though, is what will happen to the movie franchise after the announcement that the supposed trilogy is now baptised as the Inheritance Cycle…
